MtnNet is the initial last-mile-provider (residential), providing connection over WiFi, utilizing a fiber-optic backbone provided by Roanoke Valley Broadband Authority (RVBA). RVBA is based on an open access model which provides the infrastructure for MtnNet to connect to and broadcast to our customers. By partnering in this way, MtnNet can provide high-speed Internet to the community, from a service provider based in the community.
